Have you ever just wanted the apocalypse to happen?
I have.
Usually it's when I don't feel like going to work, or when I was in school and had a big test I didn't study for. Or whenever the survivalist in me wants to hold up somewhere with a stockpile of food and weapons and shoot people who fuck with me.
How the apocalypse happens doesn't really matter I guess. Nuclear disaster seems the most likely, but zombies would be a lot of fun. I'll probably decide it's not all it's cracked up to be after a week or two when I'm missing hot showers and modern day society, but whatever, a guy can dream.

Oh and I don't think it has much to do with zombies (sadface) or anything to do with christianity (happyface) (losers), it has more to do with someone / something a lot more intelligent then us.

I know what you mean.
I don't necessarily hope for the biblical apocalypse, because I would die and all... but a total societal breakdown of some sort or another would be sweet. A complete governmental collapse or French Revolution-style uprising would be great.

it would be kinda fun to have zombies.
personally i'd do a lot of drugs, shoot a lot of zombies, and have a lot of unprotected sex with multiple partners before the apocalypse.

I just really liked that picture and needed an excuse to post it.

My grandfather was a photographer in the US Navy. He shot pictures of a lot of the Bikini Atoll nuclear tests. I have one of his photos - B/W wide format showing a big blast cloud with two rings of ships around it and the beach in the foreground. It is awesome. He died at 55 or so of cancer of the everything. Can't imagine why. Musta been the unfiltered cigarettes.

Isn't that the exact opposite of suicidal? Wanting everyone else to die.
I'm a fan of the 4 horsemen, but cthulhu would also be awesome.
The rapture seems like it'd get awkward, with all the "I told you so"ing going on.
Does planetwide extinction due to non-supernatural forces count as Apocalypse? If a meteor or planetoid were to hit, would that count? I'm running with the supernatural apocalyptic events for now.
