This is me, sampling myself.

That makes it mine.

It would, but I like the dynamics of the turntables. Allows for a little more spontaneity.

I do not use turntables often anymore, altough you can hear some analog residue in my
track "01a", which i doubt you've heard. I used samples there from my very old and grey
vinylversion of kraftwerk's 'Electric Cafe'. Love that noise now, gives it an almost 1980's
sound. Where are the times, when we were carying loads of vinyl around...

And i have no idea how you used turntables in your creation. You started with a midi-sequence, and then doubled it ? If i understand that correctly, wouldn't a wave-editor be more efficient there ?
Just asking...

Experimental, but i can dig it.

Still like "savage helpless burn", btw.

And last weekend they played Amon Tobin's 'full size joint' in the bar i frequent.

Funky. Not something I'd listen to more than once. But +2 for the effort. Propellerhead Reason?

Not normally big on techno, but I like this well enough. Nice work. The intro and from 1:25-1:35 were IMHO the best spots.

i opened this window but refused to rate until i listened to the file until the end.

now that it's done...while i tend to eat your written offerings up and beg for more, this is the second time that an audio offering of yours has left me wanting. not to say it was bad or that i could do better, as neither is in any way the case...i just wasn't in love with it. it caugfht my attention, but never fully satisfied me.

and that matters zero.

I guess you could say that...

It's a crutch, for my otherwise complete lack of talent.

How goes it, Stagger_Licious?

Not true. Intellectual property is the only thing that keeps the North American economy alive.

Can't you see we're too lazy and stupid to innovate any further than we already have, and must therefore hold on to these fragile ideas and dig our heels into the ground and fight!?

There's no such thing as sharing anymore.

And the internet ruined it.

All hail, I'm going back to bed. Where my thoughts were safe from you greedy, lazy scoundrels.

EMOTICON.
