This may not be of interest to anyone but the users involved.
I was shopping for a new laptop sleeve at Cary Crossroads when I decided to see what the hell Steinmart was. I'd driven by it about a hundred times and always wondered. It made me think of one of my old professors whose name was Stein, which had been reason enough to avoid it. It also made me think of Jews. Har har.
At any rate, I was passing one of the bigger stores, either Michael's Crafts or Old Navy, when I saw a young woman at the curb, pushing a cart with a baby in it. She was about to cross, and being full of awesome, as well as politeness, I stopped to let the young lady pass. She was average height with dark hair, and REALLY familiar. Her child had dark curly hair. I was just about to go, when I noticed another very young girl with dark curly hair stopped at the curb. Not sure if they were together, but assuming that they were, I stopped for this little girl as well. The young woman stuck her hand out for the young straggler, looked over at me and mouthed the word "sorry" with an overwhelmed smile on her face. And then I realized where I knew her from. Ubersite. I am pretty certain it was firefly I saw, and her two young children. I almost rolled down my window to ask, but then thought of how accosted I would feel if some stranger called me by my Ubersite username unexpectedly.
Firefly, if that was you, then you are even prettier in person. I was the girl in the old ugly red Chevy, which may or may not have been making a rattling noise and exuding an unpleasant smell. I mean, the car might have been rattling and smelling, not me.
On the whole, I was a bit unsettled. I am unaccustomed to seeing people who live in my computer walking about in the real world. My response was to simply keep driving. No offense or anything. I mean, you looked really normal and nice for a person that's supposed to be in my computer.
So firefly, were you at Cary Crossroads today spending Razor's Jew Gold?

For some reason, I found this unsettling. Good thing Firefly isn't an Internet asshole, and Anansie isn't a vengeful psychotic! I've had people on other forums relentlessly harass me (on the forum and through IM), get other people to join in on the harassment, then post 50 pictures of themselves, give out their totally unique first and last name, and reveal that they live close to me. Lucky for them I don't care, and I understand that they're just stupid teenagers. I figure with their level of moronicity, their life expectancy that isn't that great, anyway.

There is enough of my information already out on the net that if you know enough of my friends online you can figure it out.
Hell there is enough information of ubersite to get my current home info if someone really wanted to put 5 minutes into it.
But thanks for the counsel...so it's saturday night? I work till about 9pm that evening but my work is like 5-8 miles from cary.
