A solitary places where we go to think at night.
We leave pieces of ourselves in these places and return to them on occasion.
Someone said that when you leave enough of yourself in a place you can never leave.
What if you leave yourself scattered, a little here and a little there?
They tore down the water tower today and with it went a little piece of me.
I guess I could try, in a lucid moment, to recollect
all of the emotions that I left high upon that tower.
Redeposit them in a new place, more permanent.
Maybe that happens naturally.

I was gonna do a series on Uber called poetry corner, reveiwing British poets (Wendy Cope, Simon Armitage. Poetry on Uber doesn't go down very well though. I like your poems. Please write more. And paint more pictures too.

It's really hard to flow with a poem when the first line contains a grammatical error.
