Actually, that's exactly what it is. Jesus was tested about whehter taxes should be paid to Caesar if he was King of the Jews, in hopes that he would indict himself by renouncing Caesar. His answer was that taxes should be paid to Caesar because the money came from Caesar while their souls should go to God because they as people were God's.
At his core, Jesus was a bleeding heart liberal pussy.

Yes, there are those who use Christianity to push their own extreme agenda, but that does not mean all Christians are extremists...think of the Muslim arguement about the same.

Look, I'm a liberal apologist son of a bitch, but re: the "not all Muslims hate America" claim - it sure seems like a hell of a lot of them do. I don't really trust Islam to mesh in peacefully with other religions, and Christianity at its real roots is just about as dangerous.
