This is a 'competition' of sorts, but not a gay million round ludicrously complicated 'madness' or 'fest' or 'people like jack mccallum in it' type thing.
It's invite only. I'm the inviter.
This list is exhaustive, if I've missed you out it was on purpose.
This is based exclusively on the people I genuinely enjoy reading, the people who's posts I scan for on the front page daily, sigh with disappointment, then click on a sicosemen or oathmeal or method post to leave a 'scathing, witty' verbal attack.
The following people are invited, nay, commanded to post within ONE FUCKING MONTH YOU LAZY CUNTS, a post in their usual style about fucking anything. Most of these cunts rarely post, so it'll be a bonus to you all won't it?
In no particular order:

it's remarkable that people still persist in imagining this is anything other than a matter of personal taste and judgement
they still seem to think there actually is some arbitary line that exists in reality and divides the 'good' from the 'bad' writers.
they forget that even when it comes to 'great' writers people have different views. some people think dickens or hemmingway is complete and utter rubbish, or that proust is dull. or that popular writers like jk rowland are mindless fodder for the masses.
for my own personal taste, i'd prefer to read a random sentence or two by apullo than a carefully crafted page by most cunts on here. i just like his way with words. his choice of words and the manner in which he combines them and punctuates them.
of the people that do string together a few paragraphs, the writing that most often agrees with my sensibility, to an almost supernatural degree, is by cornnugget.
i am less interested (in the context of ubersite)in the whole 'story telling' thing.

PS - I don't care if you or anyone else thinks I'm 'GOOD' or not. Unlike a lot of the so-called GOOD writers on this site, I write every day, primarily for my own kicks. Some of that drivel gets posted on uber. If the GOOD uber writers were truly good, it wouldn't take them a month to write two fucking pages of story. They would just write. So for things that are uberbound I write, give a quick review, and post, typos and all, and I welcome comments in which people pick up on inconsistancies or dropped plot details, because that helps me get better. And for everyone who has ever gotten a good belly laugh over my self-published novel, all I can say is, up yours. I've written a 450+ page book. I'll be the first to admit it is over the top pulp in need of a good editor, but unlike some uberwriters who agonize over their craft and let the years slip by thinking, 'soon, I'll write the BIG ONE,' I've already done it. kaos king has done one, and his uberchatter indicates he is working on more, as am I.
In the end it comes down to story. I want to tell these stories. I've been doing it since I was ten yaers old. I want to tell them so much that I don't care if anyone is listening or reading. The telling is what is important. That may make me an artist. It more likely makes me insane. I don't care. Now back to what I was working on...

Kaos - it's predictable because they're all accepted as being 'good' writers, who have 'good' ratings, who don't post shit, who are a safe bet to be reliable and consistent. It's funny to me because there are no surprises on it whatsoever. If I'd been asked to make a list of people you'd consider decent, that would have been it exactly.
Also, Apollo never listed good writers. He said specifically these are people whose posts he enjoys reading. He even put 'good' in ironic quotes.
I myself have never made a list of good writers, or said that uber was better two years ago, so whoever that torrent of bile was directed at, please try not to splash any on my shoes.
