I know there's about a billion movies I should be going to see right now(No Country for Old Men), and equally as many shows, but I don't care about them. I mean, I do, but they can't possibly add up to what my brain wishes would come true. Here ya go, what I wish was "coming soon..."
1. A Willie Nelson documentary
2. Bad Brains touring with what remains of Sublime-not seperately, but as a giant mash-up band. Imagine Bud, Eric, and HR all putting it down live. Even a disaster would be epic.
3. A biopic about the relationship between Hank Williams and Patsy Cline.
4. A novel based on the relationship between Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan.
5. The Astros winning the series.
6. Glen Danzig and Jerry Only making up and producing a Misfits album that finally puts emo to bed.
7. Mark Gonzales quiting the art scene and focusing on skating, and coming up with a video part that smashes "Video Days."
8. Against Me! deciding that faster is better and releasing a real punk album, but only on vinyl.
9. The Band reuniting and going on a south-only tour with Old Crow and Gillian Welch... and maybe Dylan could show up for a show and sing his guts out for a new rendition of "You Ain't Going Nowhere."
10. Kurt Vonnegut's widow finds his hidden writings and releases them-in his diary; A description of a band he wished to hear before he died. That band? Love$ponge.
Duh...Man, I can't wait to hear the shit talkers. Let 'er rip.

Your tastes are suitably esoteric, and you appear to have a rich fantasy life, which I heartily approve of.
Excuse me - OF WHICH I heartily approve.

HAHA- Well don't you know just how to speak to a lady. I hit a nerve, eh?
Tell you what- when you're all growns up and no longer "brio(toy)kid(child)666(omg teh scary!)", THEN you can tell me what to do with the memory of Vonnegut. Until then, why don't you just STFU and get back to your 'fantasies' here? kthxbye

The newest Bad Brains album is chock-full of thrashy, Adrock-produced, early eighties style D.C. Hardcore. So no, they don't "play reggae now." They've always played reggae AND punk, just like Sublime did. You're probably thinking of Soul Brains. I understand Brad Nowell is dead. It was pure fantasy, douche. Like I really believe any of this shit could happen. Take yourself a little less seriously and quit being a fucking music nazi from the comfort of your keyboard.
Oh, and by the way, you can shove "The Memory of Vonnegut" up your ass.

You were name-dropping bands and people that I appreciate, so no -2, but I'd go with what Saccy said.
To further elaborate on the Sublime/Bad Brains issue, which is near and dear to my heart, I must point out these faults with your fantasy:
1)Sublime is no more and never will be again. Sublime WAS Bradley Nowell, who is of course deceased. The remainders are now called Long Beach Dub All Stars, or some such nonsense, and they completely suck ass.
2)Bad Brains plays reggae music now, and if you look up on youtube for video's of....lets say "Pay to Cum" you come up with 2 options- the first is back in their heyday, and it makes me cum every time I watch it, without even paying.
The second is HR half-heartedly singing what was once his "thing" but after around 20 years or so has just become stock shtick.
And to finish my points of contention with your post- They have COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SOUNDS, which means a mish-mash of them would sound worse than my cat being raped by my dog.
On the Misfits issue, I can only say this:
"I've got something to sayyyy....I raped your mother today, and it doesn't matter much to me, as long as she spreads."

SUBLIME in even the same ROOM as Bad Brains? I don't even have the energy to explain what the fuck is wrong with that nonsense.
You actually believe the Misfits should make a comeback in 2007? Neither Danzig nor the band that calls themselves the Misfits have done anything relevant in years- do you think that anything they released today would sound any less watered-down and pop-friendly than any other legendary band who reunites (or for the most part even continues- Metallica, RHCP, etc) 20 years after they became relevant? With rare exceptions like The Pixies, let's be honest- those reunions are nice for the nostalgia- but the 'new' music is usually a disappointment.
The memory of Vonnegut doesn't deserve to tainted by the rest of this post.
********
Saccy obviously knows more about those genres of music than I, but who doesn't? :)
Vonnegut comment was right on. The poster appears to be a fucking idiot, at least to this observer. . .
