Who could have foreseen the event that would put an indelible seal on that fateful day. In one's wildest imaginings, nothing like it had ever been experienced before. Throughout the history of man's dabbling in the affairs of the unknown, there have been many noteworthy shocks to the collective consciousness of inquisitive humans.
