Well, it seems that the Vegas trip is a go.
The date has been set for July 17th. I will be checking out and flying back on the 21st, so that's a solid three days of partying, gambling, and rubbing up against all the strippers and hookers I can handle.
I have created a googlegroup specifically for all those who are interested in attending. I've found that even though I'm pretty much financially fucked, I can get a flight out from Pittsburgh and a four-night stay at a hotel for anywhere between $450-$650 depending on where you want to go.

There are cheaper rates at http://www.southwest.com but you won't be able to book anything this far in advance.

Shlong, are you only going to play the main event on the third of July, or are you going to play any of the other events?
No Main Event for me. If, by some miracle, you make it through the 6,000+ entrants, it takes 11 days to finish the Main Event.
I'm going to probably just do a $1500 and a $2000 No Limit tourneys...they take like 3 and 4 days each.
Just saw the schedule and I'm going to try and make it the week of 6/11- 6/17.
I GUESS SHLONGY WON'T BE THERE IN JULY.

Me and the missus are in for sure. We found a great deal at the Stratosphere, but I'm still looking. That map actually helps a lot. Every time I check a place out online I forget where I saw it on the strip.

Last time I was in Vegas, I stayed at the Luxor. They have wicked balconies that extend over the casino going up the pyramid. Also, what I can only describe as a homeless, chain smoking priest was outside beggin for money. And I left up $4500.

I will be in LV for a week in July but will not know which week until the fuckers at the WSOP post their goddamn schedule of events for 2008.
If we ARE in Vegas during the same time period, I must ask that you all leave Shlongy the fuck alone as I will be trying to make some final tables and make enough money that I do not have to return to work for at least another 4 years.
