That's right. It's a series, and I refuse to announce when the next part is coming out, or to put them in order

This seems like a lot of work just to confuse them all.
It's the little details that make it work. There could be gaping holes in the forground, but as long as the background works, they'll be fine.
So if the color blue is missing, they'll be fine, as long as the clouds still make weird shapes in the non-blue sky?

What do you mean "other" cars?
When someone is driving, the rule is, they shouldn't see a copy of their own car too often. It has to at least be a different year, color, or have been altered in some way.
Why?
Because then they'll start to realise what's going on. Listen, asking questions isn't something you want to do on this job. Knowledge is power, and ignorance is bliss. Power just doesn't have a good track record in this job.
What do you mean?
When we slip up, or use this knowledge to our advantage, bad things happen. Wars, plague, genocide, epidemics, the DMV, extinctions, companies go bankrupt, natural disasters, riots, and the sound of metal scraping against things. Things like that.
How do we control it all?
There's a certain level of rage, anger, and hatred within each person, and we vent it through them. Just make sure not to let them do anything too stupid.
