Yeah, I realized I didn't want either of those.
What I wanted WAS a Moderated Serious Writers' Forum.
I found one. I dig it. Uber will never be what I actually desired, and I'm cool with that.
I haven't had much time to lurk, although I've stepped in now & again to grab some old work. I must say, I've noticed a lot more 'old school' users on the few times I've dropped in. Good. I happened to read through Bart's last post, the stuff concerning Digg It and Stumble It. I think that's excellent.
Anyhow...
Some of you know that I've been helping out with a Horror-themed lit magazine. It's doing well, although still in its early stages. They're working on issue #3 now. I was curious if any of you sick freaks would want to submit a piece for consideration. I dunno... if you're interested then e-mail at antius777.at.yahoo.com

Sounds like you are making small lifestyle changes rather than being extreme, so you should stay trim.
I find eating bran in the morning (ie Bran Flakes) really helps.
Swimming is awesome - you can do 50 - 70 lengths and not feel it until you climb out the pool.
Most males I know cut down considerably on the booze - and change what they drink - and the weight drops off. Little and often is better than a weekend binge.
Staying away from cheese and bread helped me get to a UK size 8/10.
Oh and stay away from those 'low fat' options of normal food. Often the difference between calories / grams of fat is so minute it is not worth the extra cost.

Thanks, hon. I've still got more to go, but it's actually been pretty easy to lose the weight.
1 - I simply cut out all sweets from my diet. No cookies, cake, candy, donuts, ice cream, soda, iced tea, ect. The only real sugar intake I get is in my coffee and I'm told I piss that right back out 'cause I'm now using that unrefined shit.
2 - I walk my ass down the street to buy my stupid cigarettes. Shut up, it's my only vice outside of coffee.
3 - I'll start working out with one of the douchebags I bounce with at the bar after the start of the new year. Hopefully that will help. too.
