Annoyed by a very vague sense of disappointment in myself, I swiped my ID badge to get out of the building onto the second floor walkway. It was about a couple hundred yards to the metro. As I passed over the one-way street below, I looked at my watch.
It was 5:20.
The slightest itch in the back of my mind brought my right hand upwards. It was then that I saw today's work. Five red-tipped fingernails glared back malevolently, reduced to ruin by a days worth of subconscious gnawing. The worst part was that there was absolutely nothing about which to be anxious.
Hands by my sides, I descended a flight of stairs. The slight stinging pain from each finger radiated upward into the tops of my hands. Ten tiny pinpricks, constant and somehow eerily calming. I thought about how the pain must, in some weird way, relax the tension.
There are bigger problems to worry about than fingernails. Fuck opening soda cans.

Whiskey, I'm a huge an avid fan of Maker's Mark (bourbon whiskey) and Crown (Canadian whiskey). As far as scotch, you'd have to ask Old Mother Shlongy, but I'm sure that his shit (suggestion) is out of our (commoner's) price range.

Oh and I have Raspberry vodka. I don't know why because I'm not a typical vodka drinker. I'm typically a Rum drinker or Crown.
I just made this concoction that's not too terrible:
1/4 parts Smirnoff Green Apple Vodka
1/4 Parts Three Olives Raspberry Vodka
1/2 Parts All natural Berry Juice
1 splash of Pomegranate 7UP
Not bad, a bit girly, but has a crisp bite.

Yes, but does it come in the margarita glass that is way too oversized. One and you'll think of doing 2 but never make it there? I'm talking these glasses are the two-fisters, like 64 oz. and make your face look ridiculous when sipping out of them. The only way to do it really, is to get 12 of your buddies around the table and have straw races, trying in vain not to succumb to brain freeze.

I rarely drink vodka, because I firmly believe drinking anything other than Gin or Whiskey when it comes to liquor is for girls.
Now that I've got that covered, I think Ketel One is not bad for shots because it has some taste to it, but it's not a nasty taste like some vodka. I don't believe in shooting Goose. Goose was made for mixing. Only girls shoot vodka anyway.

My bad, FTW, I'm mixing people and reviews here. I'm just a shy cloudy right now. That's something I've got to add to the bar: Gin. I have none more left I think and I just plowed through the remainder of the handle of Apple Vodka. I'm not too impressed with flavored vodkas but they are left overs from parties past and I just can't see them going to waste so the way I look at is that I'm doing a service.

I only tolerate Grey Goose, thank you very much. The only mixed drink I like is Margarita. Otherwise, I stick to beer, and of course, mead. I had a shot of tequila a couple of weeks ago, and it was so nasty I thought I was going to die. Blarf! It was good tequila, too. I just can't do it.

Since this post sucks, I'm opening it up for discussion on Vodka only. I'm drinking Vox and juice right now and am quite impressed with it, for the price. It's slightly cheaper than Belvideere and Grey Goose, but just as, if not tastier. I've had Tanqueray Sterling which is quite good for the price and 3 Olives kicks ass, and I've had Ciroq which was fucking fantastic but too pricy. Any other good ones, anyone?
