Big news story of the day: some douchebag 16 year old kid puts an open invite on myspace to a house party at his house while his parents are away and 500 drunken teenagers show up. some cops show, some stuff is smashed, kids get a little out of hand. Out of left field, the local media decide its the scandal of the fucking century and race over there to take photos and condemn the kid.
The kid stands around in gay sunglasses, a gayer hat, and a fucking furry hoodie, but shirtless underneath and gives arguably the biggest collection of myspace photo poses every seen in one go. Now the cops are gonna charge him $20000 for the cost of their operation, his parents have raced back home, but he's pissed off and isnt coming back. Events management companies are lining up to hire him for his apparent party-organising skills - even though all he really did was put an invite on myspace (who the FUCK uses myspace anymore, anyway?), and some trashy local mag has offered him some cash for some reason or other. Even with the $20k cost, he's gonna come out way ahead.
I think what's gotten everyone's vagina's so sandy (including mine) about this non-issue, is the kid is such an obvious fucking toolbag who is just blowing in his shorts over all the attention he's receiving. The real culprits here are, yet afuckinggain, the media. In carrying this story on for so fucking long - in fact making it a story in the first place, now not only is this little cockhead going to make shitloads of cash and get much more attention than he deserves, but there are going to be a shitload of copycats.
Way to go you fuckheads, you've just started another fad. Though, it's not like they care - we're the fuckwits that will keep buying their shit, and justifying their every action.
I don't know who to hate more. Selfish, stupid, self-centered kids with an overdeveloped sense of entitlement; their fucking dumbass parents; the media; or us for being so fucking bored that we basically give the aforementioned media the right to feed us this fucking dross day in and day out.
Kill me now, Lord, just fucking kill me now and take all of these fuckwits with me.

also, why does the kid have to pay for something tax dollars are supposed to pay for? does that happen a lot in your country? cops demanding the criminals compensate them for catching the criminals? sounds very odd...

Remmeber the runaway bride? Not exactly the same thing but she had to pay for all the cops overtime.
If you incit a riot and there is a lot of damage you can be held responsible for the damages it causes.
Doesn;t really matter to this fuckwit though because I am sure his parents will spring for it.
I am just pissed this story is big bbecause I am going to have to watch a buunch of skinny high schoolers trying to sport that look out this summer.

i have heard about China doing that. pretty funny. i just don't see why they are charging people for committing crimes. i thought that's what tax dollars and fines covered. are there also fines to pay along with your police service billing? i'm not saying i have anything against it. i've just never really heard of it besides the China thing so i'm curious.

no, i couldnt care less about the party. i didnt throw any myself, but went to a few with a couple hundred people and they were awesome. the kid is just some fucking total douche who has been given WAY too much attention for nothing special at all - he put a party invite on a social networking website. woopdefuckingdoo.

wait a tick, god mode. are you saying that party doesn't sound like fun? i used to throw huge, wild parties and i'd have a good 100 strangers at my house, fucking in bedrooms, puking in bathrooms, breaking glass in the kitchen, jumping off the roof into the pool, playing music so loud that the bass attracted snakes in the house once. we'd put up fliers or send out mass emails. it was the best times of my life. how can you call these kids stupid for trying to throw a huge party? can you imagine how much fun and sex i had?

The police (and the media) should never have gotten involved. They should have just let the 500 people that showed up trash the kid's house and steal everything that wasn't nailed down or too heavy to carry. not so much that you're reaching out to the masses but that you are spending personal energy on it.
here's my scenario, if you don't mind, I spend a minute or two reading about this ( i did a day or so ago). My mind thinks on it for a few minutes and decides that the 20k is dumb, the kid is dumb and likely stealing my oxygen, and the media is retarded and mailing in news stories instead of doing any real reporting. Basically all parties are a waste of my time, while I find them ignorant and useless I decide that my best course of action in relationship to this is figure that it has no direct impact on me nor I on it and I let it go.
Case closed, subject deemed not worthy of my time.
