The market is going bad.
NO Shit Sherlock, any fucking idiot knows this. Personally I think we are getting confirmation that we are entering into a full blown recession and due to the volatility this year if you haven't already gotten out then get out now and switch to canadian gold and sliver companies.
At the moment we have the combined effects of consumerism gone mad. (everyone buying everything with credit). A long term down trend forming in our stock market and a weakening US dollar. Add in market sentiment (OH NOES DA SKY IS FALLING) a change of government (losing stability, most investors stay out during changeovers of gov't). and we have a perfect storm forming...
If you are in debt try to pay it down as much as possible as interest rates will continue to rise, IF the fed see's fit to reduce them inflation will sky rocket so even though it looks like your % rate is cheaper it won't be relatively speaking.
If you are an investor look at the Tech Analysis charts and switch to commodities, Canadian based or European as you don't want to invest with US dollars.
If you are a speculator BUY PUT OPTIONS, the market is heading south.
If you are currently baked and are a college student DO NOT WORRY mummy and daddy will take care of everything...
If you are ROB BERG... nothing bad will happen to you. enjoy the day.
I'm up tonight noght trading with my cousin big poppa (say hello to my cousin) and the charts have without a doubt confirmed its a world wide downtrend...
For further reading google elliot wave theory, super cycles and W.D Gann.
Remember, IF you know its going to flood you can build an ark, so even though I predict doom there will always be elements of the market that will increase so hunt them out and don't borrow anymore money

Commodities are always a strong bet--but you mention nothing of things like world wide copper inventory--do you even look at the LME? I think you should. You'll find a very disturbing trend of over production. Even with China/India factored in.
Put up your top holdings, or what you think you'd like to have as a top holding, I'm off today and would like to know.

I'll refer you to previous posts. Commodities were out of favour for 25 years... they were totally disregarded for the bulk of the time you and I have been able to invest. I have always been a contrarian and yes I put my money were my mouth is and thats why I have a 1.6M plus home in Paramus right now (albeit with no furniture and no car!) I'm still under 30 and have never held a real job.
I did lose a heap of cash but have some set aside for a rainy day or buying opportunities as they present themselves.
And technically I am not allowed to trade for another 18 months due to restrictions put on me by the SEC

He convinced me when I sent an email out asking for info. on a property I wanted to buy in his area, he looked at the place for me, took photos ang gave me some valuable info. When I tried to transfer him some money to make up for his time, he flat out refused and even was a bit insulted when I persisted.
