Djokovic beat Tsonga. It's no big deal, I felt bad for his folks who'd made the 22 hour trip to watch their son lose, but then when was the last time the french won something, and Djokovic has parents too, right?
The network hosting the Australian Open has being playing this montage, against josh grogan's 'february song' in extreme slow mo, all tennis shoes and forehands impacting on green balls that just go squish on impact, every volley and body hitting the court superimposed with an audio cannon shot. I didn't even know about this josh grogan before channel 7's coverage, but fuck me if it wasn't moving. You should see a Nadal double-fisted backhand in extreme slow motion, or that beady-eyed moustachioed sharipova's boobs bounce when she hits a forehand....
