alright, a journal.

Only 9:46 in the mean old PM so far. I guess this is my first entry, so I should probably expell all the rumors, right? First of all, I was never in mexico, I have no earthly memory of any event which took place in said southern/western nation.
Two (2,) I never DELIBERATELY tried to burn down any gourmet hamburger restaraunts anywhere south of Houston.
Tres, There are no limits to anything, everything is up for grabs, and it's all directly in front of your own two eyes.
So, a journal. I missed Falon for most of the day. There is something so incredible about waking up and brushing your teeth while a dozing woman waits for you to be done with the sink. Even at the young and primal age of 26. And then you go back to the bed after your shower shit and shave, and you flop down on the stinking sheets and watch her get ready. She always walks out in either her bra/pajama pants or maybe just just YOUR boxers and that's it, HA! YES! isn't that so great?!
Either way, I didn't even stay at her place last night, in her fucking badass softass bed, I crashed at my own place. My house with the roaches and the cracked and leaking icetrays. My house with the small tv set and the cold toilet seat. Like that's all there is to it, see?
In my house, upstairs, I got a century of music waiting every day. See, I don't give too many shits about cockroaches or stale bread, just so long as I got the music upstairs.
I actually took care of tons of shit today. I enrolled in and paid for school, I sold three (tres) pieces of household appliances, I deposited four hundred smackeroos into my account, and I played like a motherfucker at practice. I think the band is important. I'm slowly beginning to realize that I should be focusing on The Band, The Girl, And The Education. That's a ton of shit at one time, man, seriously. But then I understand that the more time I fill with productive shit like love and music and literature, the less I fill with booze and bad decisions.
The thing I really miss these days is skateboarding. There were, at one time, chunks of my life which were not within walking distance of each other, and I drove no internal combustion machine. In those days I skated to spots, to the store for beverages, to the bowling alley to meet friends who didn't skate, to the grocery store to pick up tomatoes for my mother (for her tortilla soup, Mother Mary love it,) and for any fight or party that came our way.
Now I just seem to creep around this little shithouse skatepark by my house. It has this flat box and this aluminum parking block that keep me entertained. There's a loooonnnnngggggg three-set at the adjacent basketball court that I Ollied on my old-school setup and was very proud of...
Whatever. Last sunday was super because the little Giants won, and tonight is super tuesday because Obama is prolly gonna do the same.
That's all I got for politics.
