Ha, yeah, because this post was incredibly educational.
Lincoln was a very interesting man, I'm not obsessed with him to the point of getting the man tattooed with a gun-arm on my shoulder (see roommate), but "Lincoln's Melancholy" is pretty interesting so far.

While you seem to want to revile America basically for existing so short a time, what you obviously fail to understand is that a when it was put together, America was made up of everybody else. Because your great-great-granduncle left his timid, unadventurous siblings behind and went to America to seek his fortune, we have all the bits of your history and all the bits of your heritage that were worth keeping. Except the beer. Shame, that. Still, as terrible a place as it is, one has to wonder why so many of your people want to move here and so few of mine want to leave. Actually, you have to wonder.
