Sico: Apparentlyy they place a cloth over the mouth and pour water onto it. If anything, I would think it simulates gagging and constant swallowing instead of drowning, seeing as drowning involves the inhalation of a fluid. Inhale water and you die.
My best guess is this makes you choke and cough, and is just generally unpleasant.
