Matt's board rose out of the of the bowl and he carved an immense grind with a the rear truck. The piece of steel he'd fitted over the aluminum slid along the concrete coping leaving plate marks and making the metal spark. Swooping out of the bowl he flipped the board toward the ground, preparing for his signature "Palm Skater", upside down riding the board with one hand. Majestic. He pulled it off like he'd done it a thousand times, but to Matt this was nothing. The bowl was far too large to be a challenge to his skills. He rolled over toward the tables and away from the bowl, so lesser skaters might use it. Matt flipped off his board sat down by his buddy Stark.
"This is the lamest park I've ever been to!"
"Yeah", said Stark, "Ample size and crowd, but no challenges. He pushed up his glasses. "You wanna keep skating or do wanna head back? It's getting dark."
"Let's cruise. I don't want to go home, though. Let's go by the We can torch up quarters and throw them at the bums down by the lake. Tramps always go for the red-hot quarter gag."
