Pity +2 for having a landlord that is the equivalent of a U.S. landlord of Puerto Rican descent. They're likely to expose the wood in a butcher repair job that takes 3 years too long to complete and is half assed making the "repairs" worse than whatever problem was in the beginning.

well, i'm not in the U.S. so as usual, you're not saying anything.
this isn't a US city. i'm actually downtown. only surburban losers have sidings.
i'm in the haute ville of quebec city, in the st-jean-baptiste faubourg, very closely surrounded by the parliament, the grand theatre, the abraham plains, the st-jean church, old quebec and just about every large hotel because this the best spot to visit this historical city. a shitload of americans invade my neighborhood during spring break actually.
so i may live in a 'shithole' but it has more cachet than any the anus you live into in some corner of Michigan. the 2-min walk to the parliament alone http://grandquebec.com/upl-files/edififce_parlement_quebec.jpg makes it pricey.
ironically, my landlord actually removed all the walls and ceiling indoor to expose the old wood crafted by hand and the fucked up angles they used.
anyway...just stfu, eh?

We're three inches away from our worst winter in history. But now it's warming up and everything's starting to melt. I think this winter was the worst because the shit was just CONSTANT. There weren't really any huge storms, maybe two nasty ones- but it was almost every other day.

are you saying i'm a pussy for bitching about snow? if that's the case, what is not pictured here is that we got hit by about 15 feet of snow so far this year. they close schools in america for five inches. mind you, we are more prepared than americans for such things. but saturday was called the blizzard of the century (that's something in canada). there was actually thunder...in winter. people had to sleep into their cars on some highways because they were unreachable even by policemen on snowmobiles. i ventured outside and walked for like five blocks...everyone, including myself, had ski googles and had to walk their back against the strong winds because the ice on your face was so painful. yanks like yourself would've shit their pants and buy duct tapes since according to cnn, a few inches = DEADLY TERRORIZING STORMS! lol

I just spent yesterday digging my summer cars out before the snow starts melting (rusts the shit out of them). They were buried, you could only see the odd spot through the snow. Then after digging them out, I popped the hood, and the engine bays were also filled with snow that blew in over the winter. I hate fucking snow.

I hear you. I spent today flying from Tampa, FL where it's sunny and beachy and 78F to Phoenix, AZ whre it's sunny and mountainy and 78F. I get to spend the next two days in the desert heat measuring a truck crash scene. At least the hotel has a pool.
I'm going to Denver next week. I hear it snows a bit there.
