In order to prevent WalMart's "everday low prices" from driving another small retailer out of your town, you should pony up the extra $$ and buy at a locally owned shop.
Isn't that what we all try to weigh as consumers? How much is our conviction worth? After all, most of us are of limited financial means. We want the "little guy" tp keep his shop, but we all expect others to be the loyal customer as we head to Target, WalMart...etc for the lower prices. Everyone expects everyone else to be the stand up guy...the uncompromising, unshakeable idealist!
The same is true for most with the environment...we want a better planet, yet we drive SUV's to the Green Rally.
