OMG--this new olfactory plugin for Java is SOOOOO cool! My friend is a chemical engineer at Sun and she turned me on to a test version. Just click anywhere on the picture, wait a few seconds, then lean forward and take a big whiff. (Make sure to turn up your volume.)

This is like that video of a "ghost" where they say you need to turn your volume up to hear it whispering, then there's an earsplitting moment of someone screaming. I wish the owner of this alter a slow and painful death.
