Welcome to the Shamrock Open 2008. In 2006 the Shamrock Open generated some fantastic tales, some of which rivaled some of the best ever on this site: http://www.ubersite.com/u/Brdn_Nkd/l/shamrock_open_2006. I don't remember if there was a Shamrock Open last year, or maybe I just missed it because there were a few months that I was "away", regardless since we obviously don't have time for a full bracketed competition this year I propose a one post, one against all, free for all.
That being said this is what I have in mind. Write a St. Patty's day themed post of any sort and post a link to it here. The winner will be the poster with the highest rated post. In the event of a tie the highest rated post with the most hits will be the winner.
Take a look at 2006's entries if you need ideas and get writing. Or don't, what the fuck do I care. I'm bored and am hoping some of you will entertain me. This will have to stand as my entry, posted last week: http://www.ubersite.com/m/115437.
Oh yeah, there is that one St. Patty's day contest with the drunk/sober posts but so far I don't think I've seen anything come of it and I don't recall where it is and, well, I'm too lazy to go look. If you don't have a full blown post then tell me a story here, after all this is all about me you know. I personally will be drinking several black and tans tonight but not just cause it's St. Patty's day, it's what I drink anyway. I mean seriously, if you need an excuse to drink good beer you're kind of a silly git.

what fails to shine through in this picture is that the one in the middle really has a gigantic beer belly jutting out in front of her which is why she turned her body so far from the camera and hid behind the other girl.
