I wouldn't be surprised, I have the feeling that I'm actually one of bart's favourite posters and he just got jealous about my sharing my ratings with other people so he decided to keep them for himself. And since you obviously love me, he could be you I guess.

i avoid pictures to avoid shaming myself. i might be a senator one day, or maybe a garbage man. i don't need uber hanging over my head.
and again, whatever i thought of your post, i wasn't there to say you didn't have a right to post it, or to camp on it. merely to criticize the institution of uber, which rewards those individuals who make shorter posts, and posts with less effort.

Why don't you camwhore? Have you already? Even for a bloke, it will raise your profile and guarantee you more hits. I regret my first camwhore, but the one i just did was part of the post so I don't mind that.
People will always be intrested in putting a face to a name, I like it anyway.

anyway, what's the point of a serious post with 20 reviews and 200 hits? the point of putting it on the internet is to get it seen. NO ONE HAS SEEN IT. That defeats the purpose.
plus a serious post can begin with a wiseapple making a negative rating, which happens quite frequently. so your serious post, that you want a lot of reviews on, but would rather settle for a high rating, finishes with .8 on 6 reviews and 120 hits.

Really? Well I guess none of us are here for the same thing. I would much rather, on a 'serious' post, have a 1.98 rating on 20 reviews than .8 on 6o reviews. Any day.
It is a fact of Uber, though, that unless you rate prolifically and review a lot, ie about a bit, people will avoid your post altogether.
I try to read every post that interests me, but I don't rate every post i read. I get berated for rating too much, which is ridiculous.
May I ask, are you male or female?

I'd rather a good rating on my good posts than reviews. Hits and number of reviews don't count for shit. You can get a post to the top of most heated with 3 people and the poster. That is not having the post seen by lots of people is it? And don't forget to factor in that if some people see a circle jerk, they may ignore the post all together or -2 out of annoyance.
You and I could get this post onto most heated, just the two of us. Would that make you happy? No it wouldn't, surely you would prefer it to get there on ut's own merit. I want that with my serious posts, none of which have made Most Heated, only the silly ones

No, not so. What if you had a group of people hanging out on a post you spent a lot of time and effort on, dropping their -2s and fat zeros, not even reading the post properly, making stupid remarks... I just think it does the post no justice. I'd rather mess around on a crap post. And let my good posts be seen as worthy for the attention they get, if you know what I mean. That's it. I want the attention to be true on my 'serious' posts as I am seeking a serious response. A critique. I want the end rating to reflect how folk really feel about what i have wriiten. Doesn't this make any sense at all?
Most heated is a crap measure of what is good. Bes to go into best this week or something to find a post of quality.

how silly. if a person writes a good post they want it seen by as many people as possible. reviews ensure that, and i doubt they care about the content of the reviews so much as the rating.

You should voice your concerns in a post.
Look, most of my posts are poop posts but the few serious ones I have done, well I would hate for someone to camp on them and generally, they don't. I wouldn't do it on a serious post, as like I have said, it seems disrespecful.
To camp on a camwhore, or a throw away post is just a way of having a laugh.
Though, I must say, my latest DW post, I put a fair bit of effort into, despite it being a rip off of the Flash post.
