Back to the subject.
There's gay guy at work who's been sending me obscene emails, threats and even told me about his buttsex sessions with a 15 years old, which is illegal.
It's not very bright that have WRITTEN all that stuff.
My boss knows he's been harassing me so I'm protected but I wonder if I should file a complaint against him. I also wonder what that entails.
He's a pretty stubborn fella. Not only does he look like a tiny rat, but he acts like one. Never goes away. I fear that filing a complaint just feed to the fire but on the other hand, I really have no idea how to make him stop. Other than kicking his midget ass, of course, but that's not very smart.
Granted, his contract has been terminated and he's gone in 2 weeks but he could easily keep doing slander about me in a rather small city where news travel fast.
So what would you do? I feel lojoped :-|

A brasserie is a brewery, is it?
That would get very confusing for visiting brits. Over here, a Brasserie is type of restaurant. Organising a piss-up in a brasserie just doesn't sound right.
Reply to one particular mail, including what he sent, saying somthing like "This kind of attention is totally inappropriate for a place of work, and furthermore unwanted and harassing. Please refrain from contacting me further about any matters not directly related to work. I have records of everything you have sent to date, and will not hesitate to take this matter up with Management if there is a reoccurance of this situation."
Well worded formal letters are a speciality of mine.

That's no different than some callous asshole harassing his frightened female coworkers. You shouldn't have to take that. Though I'm sure it would be satisfying to smash his face in, I agree with Jeaneee: let HR deal with him.

Well, the decent thing is to discuss it with him first. If anything he is saying or doing offends you, tell him & ask him to pack it in (with optional aggressive anti-gay rhetoric). Then if he doesn't, you can feel free to go official on him.
