obviously you've never heard those beer commercials on the radio. they have backup singers that sing things that don't rhyme at all with what the announcer is saying. what i wrote is awesome.

i agree that it almost looks staged but they're pretty nonchalont in the picture as though it's a candid shot.... looks like an electric grill to me.

Well, this picture didn't get much of a reaction out of me, all in all. I see this kind of thing very frequently in the summer months of the American Midwest.
I especially like it when the Joe-Bobs balance a boom box precariously on the side of an above ground or inflatable pool.
Once when I was out driving around, I saw that. I grabbed my cell phone and called a friend who was working in the ER. I told him to go on alert because probably very soon they'll be getting 4 cases of electrocution coming through the ambulance doors.
To that he said; "Well, it IS summertime after all."

I don't believe this picture is real.
What I mean to say is I think it's staged and the cord is not really ever plugged in because power strips are far from waterproof so even if the top of the strip wasn't in the water I'm sure water was seeping in.

i imagine that was a safety precaution to prevent the cord from falling in. the whole thing is truly quite amazing though.... you'd think the wrong movement in the pool would cause the conversion of the water into energy water.
