Over a few drinks in January a friend of mine suggested we visit India over Easter to see what's there. I had five weeks off uni between terms and could just about afford it so I thought, why not.
Three months later I was on a plane bound for Delhi with my backpack, camera and a guidebook. Below (I hope) is a collection of cool sights I saw - respond appreciatively or I'll post it twice
Enjoy!

Im going to Egypt in October where I expect to get caught up investigating some kind of Pharaoh-mummy worshipping death-cult, capture, torture, daring escape and save the girl to be back home in time for tea and medals.
Huzzah.

i'm too busy flirting with orphelia to book a ticket. and being in Iraq.
the architecture and beaches look cool, but the rest of it looks terrible. i generally don't take trips to look at buildings, no matter how cool they are. i go if i know there's going to be some great parties and sex with exotic women and third world countries aren't exactly my choice places to party. plus, i like to eat cows, so i don't think i'd be too popular in India.
i think places like Amsterdam are more my speed.

Agreed. I have every intention of going to Thailand, but I don't think I'll ever bring myself to spend the money to go to India.

and I've been to Candolim plus Mapusa and Calangute.
Is the fuck off huge container ship still beached or did they get rid of it yet?
It must have moved or else you'd have photographed it.

Spent New Years eve 200 on a beach in Goa and have been several times since.
Seeing a black Father Christmas in 110 C heat is odd.
Even saw a man begging ... no word of a lie... who had no arms or legs ... I kid you not... NO ARMS OR LEGS... some cunt must have put him there in the mornig and the same cunt must come back later in the day and pick him up and all his winnings and take him home.
Un-fucking-real country.

I was in Bangalore myself a few weeks ago, definitely agree with you on the fascinating architecture and in general the entire culture itself. Were you informed that if you killed a cow, you had to offer its weight in gold or silver as restitution?

I love the purple picture of you.
The closest I ever got was to ride an elephant and a camel at the Philadelphia Zoo when I was about 6.

Travel broadens the mind, education deepens it.
Well done pursuing both.

I've been and thought it was beautiful, this reminded me that I must return as my little slave boy isnt as young as he used to be, his family wrote to me telling me they have a new one for me.
