This is the work of Kate Beaton. Read all of her strips because they are both hilarious and educational.

Incidently, I am unsure if it is worth doing a mega updated ultra webcomics list of Berty Approved Web Comics (BAWC). If you would like me to produce such a thing then you may holla at me to do so but please do not wave your hands in the air like you just don't care. Thank you.

The etymology of 'fuck' is contested/unknown
============
True. It's always been a verb though and they think it came from Old High German (see "fikken")

Technically they'd all be talking in some mad saxon dialect which is probably known only to superfluous alumni in Cambridge.

Auto drunken Friday night +2.
Although, for Harold kings, you can't beat Harald Bluetooth. He invented the wireless headset, which totally outweights the downside of christianizing Denmark. As if the fucking Danes weren't miserable enough already.
Yeah, I said it. Fuck you, Søren.

This is the work of Kate Beaton. Read none of her strips because they are both nauseating and tiresome.

Regardless, the anecdote that an English longbow, if loosed upon a mounted knight at 20-30 yards, would pass through armor, bone, armor, and kill his horse is something that should inspire the next great wave of capital punishment. Firing squad: longbow style.

This presents an interesting historical reading.
Contemporary Norman and Anglo-Saxon sources make no mention of Harold taking an arrow in the eye, and it's not until some 10+ years after the completion of the Bayeux Tapestry that histories of the Conquest even begin to mention the arrow wound. Does this perhaps suggest that the questionable artistic depiction of Harold's death in the Tapestry - with Godwinson figured as either the man with the arrow in his eye, the man taking a sword wound to the thigh, or even perhaps both - resulted in incorrect readings in the following century's Anglo-Norman histories?
Clearly the cartoon supports the 12th century reading, despite the clear lack of evidence from the late 1000s. I guess if enough people say so, it must be true.

that may be so, but you being english, i would expect you to have a fair idea of what hilarity is, given you cunts have been responsible for most of it in recent history.
this strip, however, ate balls, hairy, leathery, old man balls.
