A friend of mine said he couldn't understand why lipstick lesbians (or any lesbians, for that matter) who are attracted to butch lesbians aren't also attracted to men. He said it makes sense why lesbians are attracted to lipstick lesbians: they're simply attracted to other women and lipstick lesbians come across as women.
But butch lesbians come across as men. So if a woman is attracted to a woman who comes across as a man, why wouldn't she be attracted to the real thing? He calls this the Lesbian Quandary.
Is that really the proper use of the word, quandary?

I think they like the idea of man, the look, feel, smell, etc. All the physical attributes of men are a go, however, the disconnect occurs because they hate how men act. A woman who appears butch is a nice mix of male with a dose of sensitivity.
