the thing about not positively rating yourself is bullshit. it just gives people a reason to bitch about something that doesn't mean anything. your rating does not impact the overall rating, so do whatever the hell you want. just do it on quality posts. which this isn't.
the thing about not posting more than once a day is nonsense as well. all it does is removes your first post from the front page and causes people to whine. a lot. it was originally intended as a way to keep users from spamming the front page and kicking other people's 'work' off. seeing as how posts stay on the front page for 4 or 5 days now, AND THE FACT THAT IT DOES NOTHING BUT BUMP YOUR OWN POST, it's no big deal, as long as what you post is quality. which this wasn't.
