Since Simon is gone, it falls upon me (I'm not sure how or why) to fill the void left behind now that Flashback Fridays are over, so I'm proud to present a new Uberseries: "Famous Franks Fridays."

That's right, I will be posting bios of famous men named Frank from all throughout history. So to start things off right, I will begin with the one and only Frank Welker.

=============================================================================

Born in 1946, Frank Welker has become known as the voice acting god. If you've seen ANY cartoons from the last 20-30 years, chances are you've heard Frank Welker's numerous voices. Although Frank began his career as an actor in movies and television shows like "The Trouble With Girls" with Elvis Presley, and "How To Frame A Figg" with Don Knotts, he has made a niche in the voice acting field.

To date he has performed over 1200 voices in cartoons, video games, and movies, a lot of them animals, like Uni the Unicorn from the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon series, or Apu from Disney's "Aladdin" movies and cartoons. But his most well known parts are Freddy and Scooby from the many "Scooby Doo" series, as well as half the cast of the original Transformers cartoon, primarily Megatron.

And Frank has been involved in a lot of recent movies as well, doing voice work for such films as "Species," "The Golden Child," and "Spawn." He will also be taking over the role of Garfield from Bill Murray in the next "Garfield" movie.

Fans of his work on the Transformers cartoon were disappointed that he was not cast to voice Megatron in the live action Transformers movie released last year, but Michael Bay kept him in the loop by letting him play Megatron in the Transformers official movie game, where he teamed up with other Transformers veteran Peter Cullen, who was, and always will be, Optimus Prime.

For more information on Frank Welker as well as his filmography, visit www.wikipedia.com keyword Frank Welker.

you're just jealous there's no famous people named "steak"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I get all steak based names, not just steak.

T-Bone Walker.

I also get the never mentioned Steak Anderson. Few know of his mastery and talent.

Also, fuck that shit, this post and all those like it have suction power great enough to surpass black holes.
