Is this the graphical interpretation of Oobersite's slow demise?
I've notice over the years (yes I'm a lurker) that there are fewer posts here on a daily basis...
At one time there were enough new posts per day to fill the entire front page and on weekends at least 2 full pages. Nowadays the numbers are down, way down.
But what do I know, I'm no Margaret Cho.
Still... assuming this graph means a consistent and gradual exodus from this site, I'll make some recommendations to perhaps help get the numbers back up.
1- more insults (start with this post.) Try to be creative and funny... most of you aren't.
2- more beeb (one of the main reasons I used to visit this site was in anticipation of more christpuncher/michaeljackson/habeeb posts and reviews.)
3- more shlongy / method / sicosemen / darko.
4- more nsfw... and I don't mean pictures of toilets or gore... I mean more boobs tyvm.
When I want news, I go to guardian.co.uk.
When I want to read short stories, I go to writingforums.org (MUCH better short stories than here.)
When I want videos, I go to youtube.com.
When I want insults, I go to ubersite.
By far the best post EVER made on this site was when a user started encouraging people to contribute comments on a hospital's baby picture site, and copy them here.
Hilarity ensued.
This is the kind of creativity we need more of.
Please stick to what you're good at, and cater to me... your lowest common denominator.
