On the History Channel last night, they were investigating the Loch Ness and mentioned how it is possible that the "Loch Ness Monster" could exist, citing examples of other animals that exist such as the Mountain Gorilla, Coelacanth, and your Okapi.

I know a woman who had a cyst on her ovary removed by surgery when she was 23 years old. The 'cyst' had hair and teeth. Vagina Dentata is naught but an incorporated twin, which is not to say that it's not fucking weird.

An old girl-junkie-friend had found out that what they thought was cancer inside her ovaries was actually her twin sister that had never developed. Not long after she found out and had it removed was when she started shootin up smack, and I can't necessarily say I'd blame her.
Fucking horrible weird when you find out that you've been pregnant for 24 years with your twin sister!

Also, the pit in this book by Preston and Child is Oak Island-ish.
The book kicks major ass. Full of adventure/pulpy goodness. By the guys who wrote Relic and the continuing adventures of FBI agent Pendergast, all highly recommended.
