but didn't bring donuts to share. Everyone knows if you show up to work on a weekend in the morning and you're "important" that you have to bring donuts, or at least those superawesome strawberry strudel things that are so sugary that they make you almost swear you can feel your teeth rotting out of your head. Regardless, it was pretty cool. Nothing like the bigwigs doing the dirty (hospital) work for you so that you can take an extended morning break whilst trying to peek around Secret Service agents and press people waiting for the man to show.
Handshakes and healthcare, 15-20 minutes (and a handshake with a little boy on the sidewalk) later and he was off in his fancy motorcade.

I'm gonna plus 2 this just because of the Angelo mention. I got to reach out and smack Angelo on the ass one time. He had on the suspenders and yet his pants were still low and he was practically begging for it. Awesome.

I vote Obama, doughtnuts or not.
Once, brnd_nkd and I realized we were some sort of one-degree-away from each other celebrity wise, as we'd both met Angelo from Fishbone. Obama-wise, I think you're one degree away from scourge.

Obama, you dissappoint me. You're all "serious face" even when you're trying to be funny. You never put out good attack ads. You never agrue anything. You suck. A president's job is to create material for late night comedy, and you clearly suck at it. Your only policy is "nonspecific change" and you get away with it because you're banking that your core audience hates the current policies so much that anything else seems preferable. If you actually get in office, I will be the first to make a "token black guy" joke.
I'll bet he didn't even get his hands dirty.
