I am changing and the world is changing, and everyone I know is changing, my cells are dying, and people are I know are dying and people I don't know are dying and trees I will never see are falling over and eggs are falling out of nests and breaking on side walks and that bird will never know how close he came to flying....
But some dumb dog will lick up the yoke and then lick his balls and then lick his owners face and that bird will never know how close it came to love.
And somewhere some woman gets an abortion and people hold up signs and make her cry and make her hate and make her doubt but they use the baby to help someone walk and someone talk and give someone hope...
and that person will walk, and stand, and hold up a sign, and that sign will give hope, and fear and make people scared and make them concerned, and cry and their cells will die and change...
And that day a bird will fly and a dog wont eat.
Someone won't wake someone up to tell them they love them before work and have an accident that pays an ambulance workers paycheck that puts food on his table to help his kid go to private school where he gets beaten up for having lisp but at least he knows all the major explorers.
Ponce De Leon never found his fountain but he had a dream. And Although he died empty everyday he woke up he had hope that this would be the day. And the day he died he never had to think about not finding his fountain ever again.
Ponce had a ship, Ford had a car, Kennedy wanted a spaceship and Sagan wanted a portal and the farther you dream the father you are from being mortal.
Some girl drops her snow cone. Get over it bitch... I used to walk to school!

In all seriousness, the connections you drew between the events and worlds were rather inspired. It's a shame you capped it off with "get over it bitch." It took the whole feel of the piece from observant and thoughtful to asshatish
