Not necessarily. My first username was in the three digits. I've been here forever, but I lost the password and it was registered to a hotmail acocunt I let expire so I just abandoned it. I didn't bother to make another account for years, didn't care about rating, then I was bored one day so I set up a new account. There are alot of people who come by this site to kill alittle time at work and read, but can't be assed to register and post or rate, but are aware of all the developments that go on. One day they are killing extra time and register.

I find it intriguing that bubba speaks on behalf of intelligent people. Didn't you get fired from your job at Circuit City, or whatever crap retail place you worked. I also would like to point out the posting your license on uber is not the most intelligent thing to do. Nor is signing your name to an 'erotic' story about a pedophile homeless woman that you post on a porn website.
To be honest I thought you used to write well a couple of years ago and rather enjoyed you, lately you've lost any talent previously displayed, and have grown increasingly irritable. I would guess this is primarily because of your lack of employment and secondary because other people on this website insult you, like everyone else here is insulted. The difference between you, Bubba, and the majority of Uber is that you take these insults personally and try and retaliate on a personal level. You then compound the general feeling of disdain that most here hold for you by giving a bullshit excuse for these outbursts, such as saying you do it for heat. I also would like to point out that the way you use people's real name is nothing short of pathetic, petty, childish behavior; and furthermore the fact that you feel that you need to be respected online blatantly says that you think not only too highly of yourself but too highly of Uber.
I would like to ask you to just step back and read the exchange below with as little bias as you can, and then to seriously consider taking time away from Uber to try and put life in perspective. I really do understand how you feel, hell when I first came to Uber and my posts generally weren't well received and I had alters making fun of me it did get me angry. Now when I go back and look at those exchanges I can't help but think how big of a blubbering bitch I was being and feel embarrassed about my previous behavior. The good news is that if you stop acting like you do currently, you start to post stories like you used to and if you stop rising to someone's bait then you will be well received around uber and people will start being nicer to you eventually.
I just ask that you consider what I'm saying.

I'd actually like to address the above comment just for shits and giggles.
I am all of the above when it comes to the role I play around here. That's all it is, a role. If you pulled your head out of your ass long enough to look around, you'd see that I have always played along with everything that's been thrown at me because it's funny and entertaining to myself and others. The difference between myself and most people here, however, is that I can differentiate between real life and the shit flinging on uber. You should've asked me, since, ya know, I was a nurseryman for, like, nearly a decade.
Wash the seed. Using three toothpicks, suspend it broad end down over a water-filled glass to cover about an inch of the seed.
Put it in a warm place out of direct sunlight and replenish water as needed. You should see roots and stem sprout in about two to six weeks.

hen the stem is six to seven inches long, cut it back to about three inches.
When the roots are thick and the stem has leafed out again, plant it in a rich humus soil in a 10-1/2" diameter pot, leaving the seed half exposed.
Give it frequent, light waterings with an occasional deep soak. Generally, the soil should be moist but not saturated. Yellowing leaves are a sign of over-watering; let the plant dry out for a few days.
The more sunlight, the better.
If leaves turn brown and fry at the tips, too much salt has accumulated in the soil. Let water run freely into the pot and drain for several minutes.
When the stem is 12 inches high, cut it back to 6 inches to encourage the growth of new shoots.
Don't expect your house plant to bear fruit. Although this does occur occasionally, it usually requires grafting. A plant grown from seed will take anywhere from five to 13 years to flower and bear fruit. Fruit on trees grown from seeds are seldom good to eat.

But unfortunately a lot of the respected users around here fell at the same time, my original uber mates disappeared and I just became a bit of a prick, but I always tried to be a funny prick, still do.
The 'serious writers' should ignore the trolls and see what happens.
Everyone should ignore the inflammatory ratings and see what happens.
I've ignored the ginger prick and even one day later I feel liberated and more likely to actually rate or even (gasp!) write a post properly. I used to you know.
I don't expect people to react well to this review, esp the author of this post.

Uber is equally about funny anecdotes, situations, drawings, flash etc than long, worthy fiction.
A shandy vignette for example, a Jared post, Circe, scourge when he can be arsed, Method, Stagger Lee, Dervel, Berty - none of them write plot driven pieces but all are interesting to read.
