Anybody else dealt with moderate to severe anxiety problems? I've been dealing with it for the last few weeks especially rough, to the point that I've gone on a temporary medication to deal with it. As I think about it I've had it for years, since I was a child. It's this deep anxiety that just never goes away-
It's gotten to the point where I get anxiety about potentially getting anxiety. It's insufferable.
Has anybody else dealt with this, and if so, how? I'm interested.
Am I crazy? Maybe, I am probably a little crazy. But who the fuck is not, am i right bitches

If the causes of your anxiety are biological in nature then a medical solution may be the answer. if they are more psychological then I would reccomend finding true love, achieving wealth and success, having the admiration of your peers and dipping your scrotum into a tub of yogurt as quickly as possible.
Or alternativly you can try injecting heroin.

You seem to think I'm joking. I am not. Riding a motorcycle involves every sense and every part of your brain, as well as most parts of your body. When you're riding, especially on an open road, you have separated yourself from the world by just a little bit. You can look at the world from a slightly different viewpoint. Perhaps more importantly, when you're in the wind the one thing you will not hear is anyone talking. It is very therapeutic, and that is why you will never see a motorcycle parked in the patient spaces in a psychiatrist's office. I'll say it again: Get a motorcycle. Ride the motorcycle. Be healed.

saved my soul that motorcycle, kept me from killing my wife and eating her 3 day old decomposing corp...
i mean, i was able to rationalise my divorce in a thoughtful, constructive and meaningful manner.

I wanna testify! There is nothing like the feeling you get riding alone through the Badlands of South Dakota. Negotiating the roads' curves and turns, sometimes with no shoulder or guardrail and a 100 foot plunge to certain death lurking there. Just you and your trusty steed, the rumble of the raw horsepower that you and you alone hold in the palm of your hand, and the hum of your tires as they grip the asphalt that is just a blur below. It is exhilarating and yet requires full concentration. There is no time for anxiety or any other emotion, just the excitement and energy of raw power and total control, feeling the fresh wind in your face and seeing the sunlight reflecting from the fire-breathing chrome and steel monster beneath you.
I mean, yeah, it's nice.

Interestingly, Apollo makes a decent comment.
Marijuana (in LOW doses) could be something to consider.

Have you ever seen a motorcycle parked in the patient spaces at a psychiatrist's office? No, you haven't. Buy a motorcycle. Ride the motorcycle. Be healed.

No, you're not crazy. It's normal to feel anxious when so many people want to kill you.

You're an attention whore and it's all in your head. You and the people like you who have no reason to buy meds but get them anyway are the reason pharmaceutical companies are so bloated with cash.

"Mental Health Problems" are for spoilt faggots.
Ya don't hear people in warzones or starving to death complain about depression or anxiety.
===
No, you just see them come home and get strung out on heroin and looking for ways to kill themselves. I'm sure that's not at all related to depression or anxiety.
A close friend of mine has suffered from anxiety for years, but wants to avoid meds if at all possible. He's not convinced he might not eventually give in. He used to self-medicate with a lot of marijuana, but has since cut most of it out. He's still concerned at time that he drinks too much, though his schedule so far keeps him from doing so except on weekends. I've noticed that the times in his life he seems to deal with his anxiety best is when he's living the healthiest, both physically and mentally. If he procrastinates or neglects responsibilities, it can build. Eating right and exercising really help him- biking, basic yoga, and breathing techniques. Not to undermine the effectiveness of professional mental health care, but generally, if he's treating his body like crap, he tends to feel a lot worse.
