Lemme tell you about George Carlin.
HIS hero was guy named Lenny Bruce. Maybe you heard of him.
Lenny Bruce had a gig shortly after JFK was asassinated.
The whole country was in shock.
The number one comedy album that year (when comedy was BIG) was by a guy named Vaughn Meader, whose entire act was based on his impression of JFK. It was all he did.
So Lenny Bruce, right after JFK was killed, goes on with his show when everyone said cancel.
He walks out on stage and just sits there for a couple of minutes.
Everyone was staring, waiting on the edge of their seats.
Finally, he took a drag off his cigarette and said, "Poor Vaughan Meader."
The audience fell out of their fucking chairs.
THAT'S comedy, and THAT was what inspired George Carlin.
And all you can come up with is "boo hoo now I'll never meet him."
