i don't know...alters are already clouding up a lot of the posts with stupid comments. i'm not sure pulling in unregistered people from everywhere to add their probably-unwelcome reviews would be such a good idea.
the site's popularity has grown too much for that i think. it's already hard enough to get registered with a real account because of the alter problem. plus this site is mirrored and linked on so many other sites that are looking for free content. unregistered joes might overrun the place now.

It happened, if i remember correctly you needed to have an account to post but didn't need any registration to make a comment. There were plenty of random joe's, but just as many registered users arguing in a thread. It's been a few years now, my old age is getting to me.
