Life is beautiful when we're together.
I'll take you to that beach I found when I got in my car and just drove, driving to nowhere and hoping it'll be quiet when I get there. It's secluded and whole, just a little stretch of sand nestled in between the limestone rocks. We'll go there one night, and I'll tell you the story of how I found it, even though it's not much of a story. We'll bring a blanket, skip down the stairs with smiles and laughter and joy of the world. Forget the blanket for a moment, just run through the moonlight and run to the sea.
We'll sit there, on that blanket, on that beach. Just sit, heads close and hands touching. Everything is everything in that moment, and everything can be felt. The wind on our faces playing games with our hair. The boiling water out there, and how it alters to caress the land once it reaches the shore. The beat of hearts, the beat of the earth. The spray, the taste of salt, the limestone yielding. The moon pulling the water and the stars lighting the way.
We could dance on the starlight, hold each other close and move with it all. Skin to skin, we will kiss and touch and move, so soft and so wonderful. Close your eyes and you'll see it too, the stars on our side, the stars behind us. Maybe we don't move from that beach at all, but as we gaze up at the sky we can see a happiness, a knowing look, a twinkle, and we'll know that the stars are smiling with us tonight. Smiling for us.
We don't need to move. We'll be cold, but that won't matter. Nothing will matter in that moment except you and me and the push and pull of the waves and the laughter of the stars and the beat of the earth beneath.
It'll all be ok.
And life will be beautiful.

I went to a beach the other day, because I had to get out of my house because it was driving me crazy. My boyfriend of 3 years recently broke up with me, and that's where I'm going to take him once he realises how kick ass I am again.
