i walk across the floor
feet striking, toes opening
cool air on my ankles
the first few steps of morning
and i see you
sleeping mouth agape
i push down on your chest
with my palms
lilies and monarchs flow from your lips
they hit the ceiling and rain down
upon my back
and as your eyes open
the room turns green like emeralds
all around
and i remove my hands
and i step away from you
not sleeping
but awake
like me

So I wanted to show someone at work a poem I once wrote.
I'm proud of the shit I write, because it's mine and
mine alone. Now I haven't been around here in a long
long time for a number of personal reasons...and when
I did a quick search for poetry to see who else out
here is still writing shit like I did, I was pissed to
find someone, somehow posted a poem of mine.
To you, whoever you are...fuck off...what game are you
playing...
I won't be back here again. Don't post my shit again
you unoriginal peon.
