Military Policy
14. McCain recently claimed that he was the "greatest critic" of Rumsfeld's failed Iraq policy. In December 2003, McCain praised the same strategy as "a mission accomplished." In March 2004, he said, "I'm confident we're on the right course." In December 2005, he said, "Overall, I think a year from now, we will have made a fair amount of progress if we stay the course."

15. McCain has changed his mind about a long-term U.S. military presence in Iraq on multiple occasions, concluding, on multiple occasions, that a Korea-like presence is both a good and a bad idea.

17. McCain said before the war in Iraq, "We will win this conflict. We will win it easily." Four years later, McCain said he knew all along that the war in Iraq war was "probably going to be long and hard and tough."

18. McCain has repeatedly said it's a dangerous mistake to tell the "enemy" when U.S. troops would be out of Iraq. In May, McCain announced that most American troops would be home from Iraq by 2013.

@GangsterSquid
I'm flattered that you think "my opinion" would be posted in the New York Times, McCain's own website, and written into his town hall speeches. Thanks!
Is that how you convince yourself that his own words aren't true? I provide quotes with sources and videos of him making contradicting statements and that's just too much for you to handle so you convince yourself that they are just "my opinion". wow
@hidden101
Good to see that some things stay the same, you are still the same old uninformed prick with irrelevant attempts at one-liners as I remember. I would have thought you would have grown up a little by now and tried having some big boy thoughts and ideas, but maybe you should just stay with this retarded child thing that you've got going. Seems to be working for you.
@banjo
what and who am I following exactly? Because I've seen my country fall to pieces in the past 8 years, and want something better for our future, that makes me a follower eh? Interesting.
And if I wanted to continue destroying our country, our soldiers, or finances, our jobs, and our economy would I be following the herd of republicans? You're a tool.

Who cares, America sucks any way you look at it. It doesn't matter who wins your stupid election, nothing will change. I hope someday America implodes. Now fuck off.

I for one appreciate your taking the time to note that McCain has had more experience and spends more time remaining informed of current events than the next two leading possibilities put together. It certainly brings to the forefront the fact that it takes longer to become manager at McDonalds than either of them has in 'qualifying' to be President.
