She raised her hand, to shield her eyes form the bright glare of the lights, and tried to make out any familiar faces, or just any faces at all, in the darkened crowd that were jostling at her feet.
Her sweaty palm slid down the smooth neck of her bass, she removed the moist hand from the guitar and briefly looked at it before wiping it on the back of her jeans. Her eyes darted back to the crowd from her freshly wiped hand. She could feel her heart starting to beat a harder. As it built up, she became more focused and transfixed on the rythmic pressure building up in her body.

Something brushed againest her, startled she looked to her right. James was stood next to her with a hand placed on her shoulder, he leaned his face closer to her.
"I said are you okay?"
She looked up at him smiling and nodding.
"Good, cause your gonna be great." he said smiling as he turned away towards the mic stand.
She watched him, strut back across the stage as he grinned at the audience. Her gaze moved from him back to the crowd, this time smiling, hoping that she didn't look as nervous as she felt. Out the corner of her eye she saw James steping up to the mic. Her heart began to pound again. 'Its time'.
And with that thought her pulse started thumping away, it seemed to be trying to beat its way out of her body, at her temples, her neck, she could even feel it throbbing in her groin. And with every throb, time seemed to slow.
*Budum*
'Come on deep breaths and relax...'

'Be positive...'

'I've got this, I CAN do this...'

'I've got nothing to worr... whats that?'
One the spotlights in front of her seemed to dim slightly, she looked up straining to see what was making it fade. What ever it was, was getting closer.

She watched as whatever was causing the shadow slowly get bigger.
*Budum*
"HELLO LONDON!!! HOW YOU GUYS DOING!!!!!"
Her head shot round to look at James who's shout it was that brought her back up to speed.
'What was that shadow?' she thought as she turned to look back up to the spot of it...
FLASH
Then silence...
Even though she had her eyes closed bright lights danced acrossed the undersides of her eyeslids. Something had hit her. 'What the fuck was that?' Her forehead was pounding, she put her hand up to where the pain was and soon realised it was wet. No she was wrong as her hand moved across her face she wasn't just wet she was soaking.
She opened her eyes to look at her hand. Her hand was dripping but it confussed her, where there should of been blood there was nothing.
Actually no the was not quite nothing, her hand was glistening in the light. Without thinking she brought the hand closer to her face to have a closer look and a smell.
Then realization swept through her. And at the same time the roar of the crowd became audible.
Laughter.
"this is.... THIS IS PISS... ARRGGHHH!!!"
