Excuse me, I'm a racist??????
I've come to a point in my life where I am seriously starting to question the many things in my life that I had just always taken as being true. I've taken a deep look inside myself. Although I'd like to say that this look-see into my soul is due to me reaching some new metaphysical plane or higher level of consciousness, but it's mostly just because I am really kind of... well.... Bored.
I don't mean bored with my life: by all means, my life is far from boring, at least lately. A newborn daughter who just... well, didn't really want to breathe for the first 16 minutes of her life has kept things interesting. So has the purchase of a Nintendo Wii.... "For the kids, of course" as I told my wife. Work is always different and interesting.
No, lately, I've just been bored with myself. Not depressed, not unsure, just kind of... well, bored. I've found myself entertaining through the years, but lately, my entertainment quality has been sketchy at best. Kind of like a sitcom from TBS: If I was the only thing on, I'd guess I'd watch me, but more then likely I'd just fall asleep, or search for some family guy re-runs.
So I am walking around the mall recently, and I get hungry. "FEED ME!" says my stomach, and being that my stomach contains acid and I'm fairly certain that Acid is bad and can eat through my skin and kill me, I am glad to oblige the rumbly in my tumbly. I head to the food court, and get in line for "Asian Wok". In front of me is a young couple, who I pay little attention to. Another young couple gets in line behind me; again, they get little attention.
But then it happens.
The man from the couple in front of me starts shouting across the mall, calling to some friend. He is swearing, shouting obscenities. "Hey Mother Fucker! Come here!" is the essence of what he says. Directly in front of him is a woman and her two young children, probably 5 and 8. She immediately gathers her kids and leaves.
The man continues, calling his friend at the top of his lungs. His girlfriend (wife? Whatever) joins in, now shouting across the way, again using language that although I use it, would never come to mind while trying to call a friend across a busy public place.
The friend calls back, returning the language. At this point, a young boy comes up to the couple in front of me, starts ordering his food. He refers to the woman from the couple ahead of me in line as "mom". I assume it is her son, and allow him to get into line. Two other kids join him, and they order there food. The original couple goes sit down, as their friend comes over. He sees they have partaken of the goodness that is Asian wok and jumps in line, in front of me, to get his food.
I calmly say "Excuse me, the line starts back there."
To which he replies "I will beat your ass, mother fucker" and he pushes me.
Now it is at this point, dear reader that I ask you to look inside yourself, and think hard.
What race are these people, who have been so rude, who have pushed me back in line not once, but four times, and when it was calmly and politely brought to there attention, responded with violence?
I'd like to have something stinging, something poignant to say, something to wake you up that there are no stereotypes, blah blah blah blah blah. I'd like to shock you all and say they were white.
They weren't. They were black.
I respond to him "I just said the line started back there. You are being extremely rude by cutting in front of me and all these other people...."
"You Racist son of a bitch, I'm going to...."
"I'M RACIST? My brother in law is Mexican, My son is half Filipino, and my best friend is black. And I'm the racist. You on the other hand, dress like a thug, which means you probably feel that it is the "white mans" fault that you can never accomplish anything in your life.....
"That's damn right..."
"Well, how? What have I, specifically, done to you? What has ANY white man done to you, personally? My guess would be nothing. Absolutely nothing. You, on the other hand, have done plenty to damage yourself and make sure that you won't go anywhere in life. I'm sure you probably smoke the Chronic, I'm sure you probably call your girlfriend "your bitch" or "your ho." I'm sure you probably didn't bother applying to college, because "who would take a black man in anyways." Come to think of it, you probably didn't apply yourself in high school for the same reason. Maybe you didn't even finish high school. Never mind the fact that it's YOUR fault that you didn't even try, because it's the "white man" that is keeping you down, just like he's keeping my best friend down, who is currently working on his doctoral thesis in physics. My best friend who grew up in ATLANTA, not WESTERN NY. My best friend whose older brother was shot in a gang drive by.
You see that as crime perpetuated by the position that the white man put you in. He saw it as a sign that if he wanted to live, he should get out of the ghetto and make something of himself.
But now, he's a sell out. He "turned his back on his brothers" because he MADE something of himself, and he can't even go home to see his mother, because the gang that he WAS in said they will kill him for being a sellout or some such nonsense. Because he turned his back on "your culture." Well, let me tell you: Your culture has been around for about 20 years, and if you black men continue to act the way you do, it won't be around for another 10, because you are all going to kill yourselves off. This, by the way, is EXACTLY how evolution works. The truly strong, which in today's age mean those that are INTELLEGENT, survive, while those who are not, DIE OFF.
I've never committed a crime in my life. I spent four years in the army, some of which I fought in a war. I've been to school, and I have a degree, one that I am currently expanding on, with another degree. I've paid every dime of it out of my own pocket, because I want to make something of myself. Meanwhile, my best friend has had nearly EVERYTHING paid for, because of scholarships, simply because he is BLACK. Don't tell me that I am a racist, when the only thing "keeping you down" is your inability to see your own potential.
I'd like to say that I said those things. I'd like to say that he woke up and I started a revolution of the black man.
I'd like to say a lot of things.
But I was scared. Scared he would hurt me. Scared he would pull out a gun. Scared he would hit me, or kick me. Scared that his friend would come over to help beat me, put me in the hospital, or worse.
But mostly, I knew that he was beyond help. I knew that the only place for this young man would be a body bag, or a prison cell, not because of what my race has done to his, but because what his race was doing to him. Forcing upon him the "thug life", the mentality that to be strong, you have to be powerful, to make a difference, you have to be violent. To get what you want, you have to take it, by force if necessary. That courtesy and being polite are signs of weakness.
That day, it occurred to me that I have given up on the thought that the average black man will ever grow up. They will forever be Peter Pan, or Toys-R-Us Kids.
But never adults.

I was at work, and I was bored. So I posted something. That's why it happend on a weekend.
The argument of "I'm not racist, my best friend is black" might be a bit much, but it's true. My best friend is in fact black. I feel racisim is the hatred of all members of a race because of skin color, not actions.
But my dislike of the majority of the race could be called racisim, because i don't like people who act "black", I like people who act "white."
Of course, the words black and white are interchangable with the words "rude" and "polite" or any other number of words.

Now watch the bleeding hearts line up and make excuses for murderers, rapists, drug dealers (not the friendly kind who sold you a dime bag in college), and generally lazy mother fuckers. To me this isn't about racism. I don't what color your skin is, but the type of people I listed don't need your sympathy, can't be "reached" and are generally so fucked up we mind as well just fucking shoot them. You might be able to rehabilitate a handful of gang bangers, but that makes you retarded for trying to do that for all of them.
Also, for anyone who thinks what the original poster is saying was unreasonable, go find some data that actually supports your point of view. As far as I know there are many more black violent criminals where I live than any other race. It doesn't make me bad a person because I'm suspicious and will avoid them in public at all costs, it increases my odds of not being robbed or murdered.
I shouldn't have to make little disclaimers about this kinda shit, but yes there are excellent black people, horrible white people....ect. I never said kill the black people, I just said kill the fucking gang bangers. I'm tired of hearing about innocent lives being lost cause these pieces of shit can't learn to fucking shoot a gun.

I just read this. The author defines "The worst places to be black" as "The States with the highest percentage of blacks in prison with respect to the black population of the State". #1 on his list: Wisconsin, with 4.5% of the black population in prison. The gist of the article is that blacks are purposefully emprisoned at a higher rate than are non-blacks, which is of course taking a racist attitude against non-blacks. The article does not address repeat offender percentages and barely mentiones crimes of violence vs non-violent crime.
Just a thought from a white guy: How about defining "The worst places to be black" as something like "places where black employment is lowest" or "places where educational opportunities for blacks are least available"? You know, "places where blacks are more likely to get into a criminal mindset for lack of legitimate positive opportunities" rather than "places where blacks are likely to get jail time for committing a crime".

I can't be bothered with slavery, people who commit 3 felonies or one murder should be dragged behind the court and shot right after conviction. Fuck spending money on keeping them alive in a cage. That said The police, judges, and lawmakers need to be watched more closely because belive it or not sometimes they are corrupt.
On a side note about this whole racism thing.. just looked it up.. did you know theres something like 37 million blacks in America, I think that puts them at like 17% of the general population. Did you know that well over 70% of people in jail in America are black? Works out to like 4 or 5 million people. Quite a "culture" they have there huh?

I was thinking about this the other day. There are shootings here in Jacksonville on a daily basis, and it seems like a kid gets caught in the crossfire and killed weekly. Almost always the people pulling the triggers are black.
I'm really surprised by the excuses people will make for their behavior. "We don't put enough into education, prevention programs, public transportation blah blah blah blah". When I hear this, I like to throw this statement in the person who's speaking face: "If I were homeless, unable to get a job due to my lack of address and ability to be clean, I would never resort to violent crime in order to get by. Ever." Stop making fucking excuses for niggers and white trash. I wish the police would make a list of gang members and systematically execute them.
When I dropped out of high school I got fucking 3 jobs, illegally (yes breaking the law is okay sometimes), got my GED and saved money for a car cause their isn't any public transportation around here. Once I had the car, I used it to go to community college! When these gang bangers manage to save enough money to buy a car (usually its just stolen), it is used for moving drugs and drive bys.
I'm rambling now, but my point is that it really isn't as hard as so many people have made it out to be for poor people, inner city or otherwise, to honestly make it and get into a decent position. It is just so much easier to sell crack and commit crimes, so they opt to take the easy way out. If it wasn't easier to do that, like the police simply killed those in gangs on sight, then maybe more people would choose to do what I did. Just my two cents.

Kids who are loud and offensive as that one you describe are usually insecure and afraid, deep down. Knowing that, you can usually show that you will not be intimidated simply by looking at the person in the eyes and refusing to be intimidated by their behavior. The same reaction usually with dogs, too.
Of course, if the person (or dog) is exceptionally aggressive for some reason, you may have to defend yourself from an actual attack. Boy Scout Motto: Be Prepared.

The cultural stereotype of the negro hasn't improved much since Amos and Andy. There's the music and movie moguls and the rap stars who fashion the stereotype; the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons who excuse it; the bleeding heart host of social workers, educators, and public defenders who perpetuate the victim mythology for another generation who had nothing to do with slaves; the whites, asians and other assorted peoples who are too shamed by the whole guilt cycle to speak the fuck up; and mostly the blacks dumb enough to buy into it.
All the same, if I see someone in a 'do rag and baggy pants coming through my window at 2 AM I'm shooting them through the brainpan and running them through until I'm quite sure they're dead.
