I had a great time, didn't feel in any danger and found the Americans to be quite a polite and friendly race.
The following year I went to Memphis, trying to experience yet another facet of the country.
It didn't disappoint, the musical heritage of the place is of course unimaginable, if you like music... REAL music, bluesy, raw, music played by some of the most talented motherfuckers you are likely to see... then you can't complain.
