Prior to the arrival of the thirteenth guest but subsequent to the arrival of the eleventh and twelfth who arrived in the same car but didn't know each other prior to this evening and in fact realized they were both going to the same event when they simultaneously told the carriage driver the exact same address and shared a laugh and sometime before the person who would have been the fourteenth guest had they not telephoned to say they had a flat tire and would be "giving this evening's festivities a miss" they party began to drag horribly and Lord Britton retired to his bed chamber to encourage himself to vomit by tickling the back of his throat with a feather leaving his guests to fend for themselves.
