He was a scrawny little kid from the Midwest, but his guitar playing was perfect.
His dad recognized the latent talent from the beginning, and took out a small loan to buy the twelve-year-old a decent guitar and amp, secretly hoping the boy's desire wouldn't fade, as it does in so many children at that age. Less than six months later the boy was in a band, and dad knew he had done the right thing. The boy was good, and his drive would someday make him perfect.

Just for shits and giggles, let's look at a line from your (quite pretentious) post.

In this situation using the pronoun 'he' is unclear as 'the boy' or 'dad' could have done the right thing.
It could be the boy by joining a band (the use of 'his' and 'he' when referring to the boy previously gives this idea more credibility).
It could be the dad by buying an amp and guitar.
There is no reason to have a comma after band either by the way.
Most on your reviews and posts are full of these types of mistakes.
That post was actually fairly poor; but then that is about what I would expect from you.
