I would just like to address this comment if I could. First of all, those refs fucked us. I know everyone says that, but that was seriously the most incompetent officiating I have ever seen in an NCAA football game in my 30 years on this planet.
Secondly, we were playing our first SEC game of the season and it was on the road. The Gamecock defense is mighty, and the game was a classic SEC-style defensive battle. Steve Spurrier has been a thorn in our sides since he was coaching the Gators, and facing him on his home field is always a challenge. He's a dirty, low-down son of a bitch who is notorious for doing whatever it takes to win, which is why I'm so pleased he's at Carolina now. It's where coaches go to die.
But I digress. The point is, even with all the factors stacked against us, we still won. Should we have put more points on the board? Yes. But there is no way I'm going to sit here and laugh that shit off. UGA is not a loser team and they did not almost lose. And as much as it pains me to say it, the Gamecocks are not a bunch of pussies. You are a pussy. Crawl back into your hole and STFU.
