On an unrelated note, I had breakfast this morning at 6:00 a.m. at a local diner. The kid running the joint is an immigrant from Isreal. Nice kid. Going to school full time. Learning English. Raising an infant son. Great sense of humor.
Suddenly across the street about 12 black guys started beating the fuck out of another black guy. He was knocked to the ground, knocked unconscious, and still they kept kicking him in the head. This, my friend, was attempted murder.
Jewboy the cook called the cops. Amazingly they showed up before the black kid was killed. All the other niggers ran like hell. After the cops and the ambulance left, 4 of the offenders came into the cafe. My new Jewish friend secretly called the cops again. Again they showed up pretty quickly. They interviewed the 4 guys, who naturally denied all knowledge of the incident.
The cops let them go. The Jewish chap and I both swore to the cops we could 100% identify them as some of the offenders. The cops said, "Aw. They'll just be back on the street tomorrow anyway," and left.
Jewboy made me an awesome breakfast, though. I really like that kid. He seemed to like me, because I realized instantly that he was from Israel. He was sort of stunned. He said you wouldn't beleive some of the stupid things people ask him, like; "Do they have money over there? Do they have cars over there? Do you ride camels over there?"
I said I would too believe it; people are fucking idiots.
He smiled and talked to me all through my breakfast.
I'll eat there again soon.
