Before when his parents used to tell him to do his homework he would sneak upstairs and watch TV or read comics, when they found him they would always say; "The mind is a terrible thing to waste!"
His friend Steven the guy that got all the A's in school hated that he smoked pot and also used that sentence. Right after that he would usually exhale right into Stevens face telling him to go fuck a goat.
When he would bring his report card to his grandparents and they would see that he failed a class they would always tell him that he has such a beautiful brain and he shouldn't waste it.

Now they are all in a corner screaming at him, his mom is begging and his dad is holding up a piece of the table. They never really saw it coming maybe because they didn't really care or because at first it went so slow but after that night at the graveyard he changed. If you would hold up a picture of a year ago you would see a smiling young boy not the skinny and pale man with dark circles around his eyes.
His dad comes at him with the piece of table, he doesn't try to dodge but instead just let's the piece break on his shoulder. He doesn't know pain anymore. He grabs his dad by the arm and pulls him to the ground, stepping on his chest to hold him down he rips the limbs of his dad. The others are forced to watch there is only one way out and he is standing right in front of it.
His father is still alive when he feels his sons teeth on his head, the people that have to watch this happen can almost swear that above the screaming they can hear his son saying;" Mind... terrible... waste"

way to rip one out but it kinda fell flat for me. had you more time I bet this could have been much stronger.
